About me

Hello everyone, my name is Kaiser Shaw. I am a junior at Rutgers University. I am majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Digital Communication, Information and Media (DCIM). I am from China. I think these two courses actually intersect. My major and minor programs have given me a comprehensive understanding of how information is disseminated and consumed in an evolving digital society.

Currently, I am looking for an internship. My desired career path is a specialization in social media.

I will be participating in an internship this summer and I am already preparing for interviews. In the meantime, I am preparing for the GRE. I plan to complete graduate school in two years. I will return to China around 2027 to find a career related to my major. For my initial career plan, I hope that I can accumulate enough experience through several years of work. Eventually, I hope I can start my own business.

Besides that, I really enjoy spending time with my cat. It gives me a lot of happy moments. In the meantime, I really enjoy going out and traveling with my friends. I feel very happy whenever I am with my friends. If you like to know more you can find me on my Tiktok account.

Hoppies

My hobbies are playing the piano and video games. I have been playing the piano since I was 3 years old. So my love for the piano has been going on for 15 years. When I first started learning the piano, I spent a long time every day practicing difficult classical pieces, such as Bach. This led to some aversion to the piano in my childhood. But when I realized that I could look at the sheet music and play some of my favorite songs. This allowed me to find my comfort zone. Playing the piano was no longer a boring exercise. It became a pleasure.
